  I recommend staying two nights, so you get the most out of your drive from Halifax. That way you make sure you have a full day to do nothing but relax, grab a pint, take in the views or play some board games.

  The owner and the staff were really great. Went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The on site bar and restaurant was fantastic to have right there and the prices were very reasonable, especially for the local craft beers they serve. The view is beautiful and the area is very quiet. We ended up extending our stay an extra night and we will definitely be going back to stay again.

  The Iona Heights Inn is a hidden Cape Breton gem. It's one of my favorite places to visit when I want to get away and relax. Dan and his wife (who own the Inn, chocolate factory, liquor store and restaurant) have done a fantastic job making each room feel like its own little cottage by the sea. The rooms are bright and airy with beautiful views of the Bras D'or Lakes.
